Yoshi got a reaction from Amoran Kalamanira Kol in Bubble Wrapped!
Ok so, I recently got a Reindrach Mug and it came with bubble wrap!!

Here's the contest, the bubbles are in a 10(rows)x49(columns) sheet, and I popped 3 of them. Your job is to pop one and see if that was the one I popped. You may enter as many times as you want AS LONG as [s]20[/s] [s]10[/s] 5 different people posted between your posts. The rewards are: [s]1 Pimped Grasan with claw II and Blood Drop II tokens and 55 age, 1 pimped Grasan with Claw II token and 55 age, and the third is a Pimped Grasan of 69 age[/s], courtesy of Handy Pockets. Correct posts would be along the lines of:

I choose column 5, row 5.
or
I pop the bubble at column 5, row 5.

If you do not state whether row or column, I will not take your choice seriously.

Oh, say if your post #5 and then only 4 people post until you post #10, whatever you popped for post #10 is still free game.

So count carefully, good luck, and have fun popping those bubbles!

EDIT: rows and columns start from top left at 1,1, rows going down, columns going to the right.
And yes, I have A LOT of self control and did not pop them all.

Additional EDIT: Thanks for the little bits of criticism from everyone so far to make it clearer!

ADDITIONAL EDIT: WINNING BUBBLES ARE IN ROWS [s]2[/s],[s]4[/s],and [s]9[/s] SHHHHHHH Don't tell

Kyuu is the first winner picking the: Pimped Grasan with Claw II and Blood Drop II tokens and 55 age.
Manda is second picking the: Pimped Grasan with Claw II token and 55 age.
Mr Mystery is third picking the: Pimped Grasan with 69 age, courtesy of Handy Pockets.

Congrats to all the Winners!!!

-Combat is what keeps people active, they don't stick around to wait for a new quest to start or because someone might drop by to RP with them, Battle is what makes you log on, search people, and start actions that might even have impact in RP
I'd have to disagree with you on this point(and ONLY this point). I have always enjoyed doing quests more than fighting on every game I've played that involved quests. I WOULD actually wait for a quest to start or to role-play because I enjoy those things more than battling. But I very well might be one of the only ones that think like that. He picked out the black stone and looked it over again as the memories came flooding back. He was reminded of the time he was with her on the beach, sitting in the warm sand, laughing, and smiling. He remembered her smile, her hair, her legs. He remembered walking along the beach, hand in hand with her, watching the sunlight reflect off the water, listening to the sound of the waves. She stopped every so often to admire a rock, a shell, or some sea glass. He laughed as he remembered trying to skip a rock, and failing. She laughed too, then picked up a rock and skipped it. It went across the water perfectly as he counted how many times it bounced along. Each ripple getting larger yet fainter. She turned to him and smiled one of her perfect smiles. He almost melted. She picked up another rock, just for him. He was going to try to skip it, but he stopped. He turned to her, and without saying anything, to her surprise and delight, he kissed her lips. That was the first time he had kissed anyone, same with her. They stood there for what seemed like an eternity, yet they didn't seem to mind. They were in love. He pocketed the stone, forever to be a memory of his first kiss, with his first and only love. They noticed the sun was just beginning to set, and so they stood there hand in hand, holding each other tightly watching the sunset.

Principle of Cyclicity: New love cycle has begun.
Principle of Balance: He can't skip stones, she can.
Element Principle: Water. Fire in their hearts.
Principle of Enthropy: Ripples dissipated.
Principle of Imagination: Love. Kissing for Eternity. The whole thing is a memory.
Darkness Principle: Sunset.
Principle of Light: The sun gleaming off the water.
Principle of Syntropy: Their love will continue to grow exponentially.
Time Principle: Time stood still when they kissed.
Transposition Principle: Sea glass. Smooth stones through erosion.

That would be through new players at the Sparring Grounds discussing it and it will slip out. Especially after people state "Their strength is their weakness" People will state the creatures they think, and then the person will agree, and then you get an influx of people that get in.

Usable items can now be configured to return to creator (or a predefined account) when they exhaust all their uses. The returned items will show info about the last owner, such as playername, location it was when last used, storage amount (if used), and time of return. I am not sure for what I could use all these, but maybe they are usefull for certain type of quests or recycleble items of some sort. To make things clear, all these features are new feature of the inventory items. They are not yet used on the current items (except a few for test). I will start to use these new features to enhance existing and fure items based on your suggestions (forum) and based on how i think best. I am aiming to make items more common for more players and turn them into an essential part of the gameplay and not just collectibles.

I believe they were originally meant to be only rare very special things but now they are going to be more common.

Yoshi reacted to Metal Bunny in New Ideas For Usable Items
Lol @ grido continuously merging new topics.

Anyway, lovely idea for a new function, or rather, description of an item.

Cursed items
Example, I have a bunny scepter.
It makes a temporary, one usage, or anything with a limit on it, some form of... bunny brainwash or something. Maybe some sort of accursed bunny feet.

I can give the bunny feet to whomever I want, and they would be stuck with the accursed item for a fixed amount of time, say, 1 day, or 1 regen timer.
It has the opposite effect of a lucky rabbit's feet; -100 luck or something
The player can give the accursed item to someone else, or the player with the scepter, or limbless and lifeless bunny corpse, could 'recall' the item. However, the player with the scepter or mutilated and decaying body, doesn't feel the negative side effect.

Tada, long lasting fun involving morbid humor and decaying limbs of cute and furry creatures.

Anyway, the scepter-cursed item, is more like a curse version of a beer keg-beer. Which I see as a sort of master-servant relationship function for items.

but yeah.. accursed items, be they single usage (meaning they fade away after a single day, or something like that), or forever, but with very insignificant (except for roleplay), effects.
Like.. say..
A slime monster, or a bag of evergrowing goo. It's the master object.
It creates every.. week? or day, or whatever, 1 single glob of mucus/slime/goo.
That glob can be thrown at other people, temporarily reducing their briskness with 1. or something else that is quite insignificant.
Either way, the person who 'received' that lovely ball of nastiness, can't shake it off and will have to wait.. for, 1 day or maybe less, for it to dry up and fall apart.

we don't sell them for massive amounts.

unless you just limit the number of raw materials a person can have, not overall items, as was suggested previously....

and one question, slightly offtopic, why are my posts the only ones rated negativly?

pehaps we would get somewhere if we had a meeting of both parties, as we will eventually get somewhere using the forum, but i think it might go slightly faster if we had a meeting of both parties in md, and because of the number of those who aren't in the " item hoarder's " catagory, we must have a few designated people who will be able to represent their side's interests well, but they must also be a person who is willing to make compromises, otherwise we won't get anywhere.

one final point i would like to make is that items were meant to be rare and special.
You'r rated negative because people don't like your opinion.., if you want positief post you shoud say exactly what others want you to say;)
