Going idle noise distorted

Hi,

With the introduction of new MD, the going idle noise has become distorted.

It is at a significantly higher pitch and happens twice instead of once. It happened the other day when new MD was being tested too.

I didn't actually mind the original, but this new noise makes me want to pull out my one remaining ear drum through one of my eye sockets.

Apologies if it's not a bug, I thought it worth raising anyhow.

Thanks,

Josie.

I didn't quite like the old sound, but this one is really unbearable (and it's being played twice here too).

Totally not a priority, but could we eventually opt to deactivate this sound (and maybe some others) via settings or something like that?

So it was recoded as it was initially meant to be (It was always meant to do it twice, it just didn't because it was buggered).

So bring back the old sound (They should have been replaced like for like but I will see what I can do)?

And make it idle when you press the button, and not when it loads the idle page right?

Yes please! When you have time of course, and if it's not too much of a hassle...

My ear thanks you kindly :)
