July 20: Day of Cold Death
Ancient Egypt: Salt festival in Wadi El Natrum
Native American: Festival in honor of Yowa
Aztec: Festival honoring Ometeotl
Wadi El Natrum is where the salts used for embalming were located, and occasionally the town of Wadi El Natrum would have a festival thanking the land for giving them the salts needed to have a good afterlife.
Yowa was the creator god of the Cherokee, and only the priest could say his name. He created mother earth, who in turn created humans.
Ometeotl is the God of duality, or dual natures. He is also referred to in some instances as a creating god, or impregnator of souls.
