July 28: Day of Sizable Cliffs
Ancient Rome: Start of a 4-day celebration of the Battle of Populonia
Norse: Festival of wise questions.
Native American: Farming festival for Selu
The Battle of Populonia was fought between the Romans and the Etruscans, and the decisive victory ended any threat the Etruscans posed to the Romans. The battle took place in 282 BC.
The festival of wise questions was created in honor of the King Gylfi, who went on a journey to Asgard, but was kicked out after supposedly asking the wrong questions to three men. Because of his failure, people at this time practice asking the correct questions.
Selu was a Cherokee goddess of corn, and she looked over the crops of the Cherokee Indians.
