   Ancient Rome: Final day of the celebration of the Battle of Populia Inca: Sacred caves are visited Closing ceremonies, special recognitions are given to the warriors who fought particularly well or performed brave feats. 
   In Incan mythology, caves hold a special significance.  They are where humans were created, and hold a connection to the spiritual world.  As a result, caves are often visited to keep the connection with the spirit world alive.
