Pixie Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 So i just started this game yesterday, and I am very confused (i'm sure you hear that alot) I have tried to complete a few quests, but for whatever reason I cannot figure out how. There is this one quest near Marind Bell by the fish fountain where you have a big square of numbers with > and < signs, and you have to fill it in properly. I filled it all in, and looked it over twice, and it was correct. But i have no idea what to do after that. Nothing happens. And also the "What number am I quest". I did the black square one, and finished it properly, i think, but i dont know what to do from there! Can someone please explain the questing system to me? Thank you!
Grido Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Those are quests made by a player named Cutler, please message him about them as he made them so knows the most about them, he can commonly be found at the Paper Cabin
Pixie Posted April 14, 2010 Author Report Posted April 14, 2010 Ok, i will try that, thanks. However, in general, can you tell me if quest auto-complete themselves, or is there usually something you have to do or say to officially complete them. And how do you know if they are completed?
Grido Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 generally they will tell you by way of Cutlers quests. As for other quests, they are all very different from each other so you would have to ask the quest maker themselves as to what happens, not all quests use the clickable items either.
Kyphis the Bard Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Most (there are about three automatic quests) quests are player run, that means you have to find them to start and finish the quest, as well as get the reward. A quest is finished when the person who made the quest says so, and if you are a winner you get a reward. Anyone can set up quests, if you need rewards contact the land leaders (you will discover who they are as you learn more about the game) Most land leaders can help you with setting up quests, be that pointing you to people who can work the scripts or helping you with ideas for new quests, and telling you the sort of things that are more likely to work.
