  1. Chewett's post in My maximum action points went down, why? was marked as the answer
Action points are roughly based on three things
Base Action points (these will remain constant or increase as you buy shop boosters) Land/Alliance bonuses (these will change as you change land or alliance) Consecutive login action points (these will increase each consecutive day, or be lost if you don't log in every day) So when playing MagicDuel your maximum action points will fluctuate up and down, depending what you do

  5. Chewett's post in How do I get involved with Magicduel more? was marked as the answer
Don't directly contact a GM is the first step!
If you want to see what jobs/work is available from the GM's you should have a look in the appropriate forum:
    https://magicduel.invisionzone.com/forum/337-get-involved-in-md-development/
There are typically various jobs that people are able to do without any knowledge/experience of programming
If you think you have specific talents that can help MagicDuel it is recommended to make a post on the "Join the MD Developement Team" forum which we review regularly:
    https://magicduel.invisionzone.com/forum/6-join-the-md-development-team/
Another aspect of helping with the game is helping others, a lot of alliances, groups, and lands have work for people to do. Since MagicDuel is driven by the players you will generally find various things to do and help out with.
  6. Chewett's post in What are the craziest spells in MD? was marked as the answer
A lot of these answers focus on "powerful" however this is explicitly not what the question asked:
Therefore It is clear that it is the dance spell will make everyone dance, it’s undoubtedly the best spell in MagicDuel
  7. Chewett's post in How do I get more plushies? was marked as the answer
Plushies are a reward currency available during the MagicDuel Birthday. There are three primary ways of gaining these:
    1. If you are online during the birthday, at random times of day and night plushies will be given out. All online accounts will be given one (or more) plushies when they are given out
    2. Hosting a quest will typically give a predefined number of plushies once you report the results. This number changes for each MagicDuel Birthday
    3. Participating in a quest will typically also give a number of plushies once the result is reported. The number is also up for change every year.
  8. Chewett's post in what is a player DNA signature? was marked as the answer
The player DNA signature is an experimental way of encoding your various choices of a series of quirky opinion based questions into a DNA string.
Contrary to popular belief it is not tied to story mode and is still in the game, new accounts should, after a few days, be presented with these questions.
It currently has no use in MagicDuel.
  9. Chewett's post in Who are the current Game Managers and what do they do? was marked as the answer
The current Game Managers are Mur and Chewett.
They are the game owners and coders who work to bring the game to life technically. They also manage the day to day running of the game and ensuring the servers stay online.
They will also typically manage the big yearly events and are in charge of appointing high level positions and ruling on the lore of the game.
  10. Chewett's post in What are some of the things I ought not to do in MD? was marked as the answer
There is never and will never be a set of rules for MagicDuel. There are some rules as listed here:
However you should read this post where it is talked about more: https://md-archives.com/1032/a-summary-of-the-rules-in-md/

  12. Chewett's post in How do I protect my sand castle from rain? was marked as the answer
You cannot protect a sand castle from rain, it will degrade regardless of what you do to stop it.
  13. Chewett's post in How do I become a 'master'? was marked as the answer
The Slave Auction was something ran a few years ago and gave the title "Master" and an item to control and drag (summon) someone to your location. There has not been a slave auction in the last few years although if it was wanted it could be considered again.
  14. Chewett's post in How can I tell a spell has multiple targets or just one? was marked as the answer
There is currently no way to tell, experimentation is the best way in MagicDuel.
  15. Chewett's post in How do I become a coder for the game was marked as the answer
Contact Mur or Chewett and they can have a discussion with you.
It is recommended to ensure you play MagicDuel and understand how it works before asking however. We don’t just need people that can code, but those who know the spirit of MagicDuel and can interpret it.
  16. Chewett's post in How many silver coins is my gold coin worth? was marked as the answer
Its worth nothing! Worth is decided by those who value it and therefore by default it is entirely worthless!
However the common exchange rate for gold to silver is one gold is worth 15 silver.
It is important to note that some value silver less than this and may set their own exchange rate (typically in the past one gold has been worth up twenty silver as trading a lot of silver is time consuming). It is up to you and the person you are trading with to agree an exchange rate.
