As a general rule, you collect resources because: You need to do or create something that requires that specific resource You want to increase your resource skill You just want to see numbers goes up You think they will be beneficial to you in the future - once resources gets developed further, and understand that your effort may not lead to fruition Someone gave you an incentive/reason to do so Quote
