Visible heat value goes up when worshipping protector

The heat value that shows at the bottom of the screen increases greatly each time I worship my protector. This also impacts the alignment of the scene name shown at the bottom of the screen. Some examples can be seen at the attached images.

However, this seems to be only a visual issue because after a few seconds the value shown returns to the actual heat I have after I'm done worshipping my protector.

This means that with each click on the “pray (give heat)” button I actually still lose the correct amount of heat.
