I'm just wondering about the concept of adepthood as payment for quest hints.
Is this a lifetime deal? Or is there only a time duration needed to fulfill this?
I think his idea varies among quest creators, so replies from them are appreciated.

I have used that as a hint task for several quests and had no requirement or expectation that people would stay my adept. I considered it a freebie.

The limitation of this is, that adepts can be changed as soon as they want.

But, it is an annoyance to those who never were an adept yet and do not intend to be.
