Sparrhawk Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 (edited) Trading Advisor - Creature transfer restrictions This is a change many of you won't like, but its a very important change that will hopefully prevent (or at least make it harder) creature raising over multiple accounts. You no longer can transfer creatures between alts, or between accounts that the new "Trade Advisor" considers. If you shared your account access with someone else, you wont be able to trade creatures with that person, if you are in a school network you wont be able to transfer between accounts within same network and so on. This is probably painful for many of you, but please consider it was never allowed to use alts for such purposes in the first place. The Trading Advisor accuracy will be improved over time, feel free to complain, but no exceptions will be made, even if you are not an alt and TA reported you wrong. I can only improve the system in time, but for now its a desperate need to fix this ongoing abuse. copy paste of announcement awhile ago, you might consider reading through all the announcements there will be some interesting things in there for your knowledge. Grido Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 one word; NO using the creature spaces on an alt is benefitting your main account, benefitting your main account with an alt is alt abuse, alt abuse is against the rules. so whilst technically you're just storing creatures on the other account and not using them, you're also technically breaking the rules, and could technically get banned

dst Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 There are logs of crits transfers. So the chances of getting caught right now are pretty big. It's up to you if you want to take the risks or not.
Kamisha Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 The main thing to understand is if you have two accounts they are not allowed to associate in any way. The only association between them can be role play and a few people have gotten in trouble for that because they decided they could run there mouth a little too far with there alt. Although mur didn't take his toll on them the community came down hard on him until he decided to just disappear.
