Windy Posted December 10, 2010 Author Report Posted December 10, 2010
It was surprisingly hard for me to try and come up with as many lines as the poem was. It's probally not very good, but I figured with the season I would make one around the Tribunal. I don't do youtube videos, or any online webcame stuff for that matter. But here is the written words and perhaps I will talk someone into making the video with it instead of me:D Twas the night before Murmas, and all through the East, Sephirah was preparing a wonderful feast. Xcercses was serving alchohol and wine, Truly the night was ever so fine. The Seal of Six were snug in their beds, With vision of chaos dancing in their heads. Phantasm in his cloak and Mur in his crown, Everyone had decided it was time to settle down. When out of the grave there rose such a clatter, We all sprang forth to see what was the matter. Through Jester’s street we saw in a haze, A figure of old was wandering adaze. The sun beat down upon the cold hard stones, The figure aloud did shiver and moan, What to our eyes did we ever see, Granos Del Void laughing with glee. With little reigndrachs, so lively and quick, We knew in a moment what ritual to pick. As our creatures began to assemble with haste, A strange look came Granos's his face. “Now Bootes! Now Woodin! Now Khalazdad and Jazira! On, Marvolo! On, Peace, On Sagey and Akasha! To the top the pub! To the top of the temple! Let us all make this Murmas so simple! As shadows that before the sun does fly, They all sprang together up into the sky. So they did jump up ever so high, A sight to be seen that made some cry. A twinkle in their eye, and a bag in each hand, Presents started to fall all across the land. As we caught the presents flying around, Back to the ground these veterans did bound. They were dressed in their medals and items of old, Oh how they shined like the legends retold. Creatures from the presents and much rarer things, Shades, and Santas, and Drachorns with wings. Their eyes how they twinkled! Their voices so merry! Apparently some of them had been drinking the sheri! All of us gathered round, so amazed by the sight, We all knew that this was the night. Murmas had come with such a delight, With veterans long gone once again in our sight. They remind us of days when things were so simple, With such crazy things as a mouse named pample. Together we joined in a day of Peace, So happy to be with those in the East. Mur smiled as bright as the crown on his head, We all knew tonight was a day for no dread. We spoke not a word, but went strait to the bar, With drinks for us all, from near and from far. The day we thought could not be more complete, When Mur himself stood on his feet. Aloud did he shout so that all could hear, “A thanks to you all for Murmas is here.” More presents did fall as he dissapeard from sight “A merry Murmas to all, and to all a good night.
OMG! I LOVE IT! Quote

I am Bored Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 and here mine are: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUQx1ibUPAw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTqaJRKu4fM and here are the lyrics: Twas the night before Murmas, when all through the pub Not a critter was Murring, not even Santa The stocking were hung on the bar with care, In hopes that Mr. Murry would soon be there. The Tennants were lying all snug in their chairs, While visions of Rein-Drachs flowed through their heads. And Orv. in his hat, and I in my helm, Had just settled in the pantry for a quick shut down. When out on the street arose such a clatter, I sprung from my seat to find from my ladder. Away to the window I climbed like a flash, Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. The Sun on the heart of new-fallen rain, Gave the likeness of mid-night to the streets above. When, what to my astounding eyes should appear, But a giant spaceship, and eight tiny reindrachs. With an unseable driver, so lively and quick, I knew in a moment it must be Mr. Murry! More rapid than birdies his coursers they cam, And the whistled and shouted and called them by name! "Now Bob! Now Steve! Now Aky and Renny! On, RJ! On Knatty! On Chewy and Rendril! To the top of the window! To the top of the wall! Now fly away! Fly away! Fly away all!" As dry leaves that, before the wild hurricanes fly, When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky. So up to the house-top the coursers they flew, With the ship full of Toys, and Mr. Murry too! And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof The prancing and pawing of each little hoof. As I drew in my head, and was turning around, Through the door Mr. Murry came in with a bound! He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot, And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot. A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back, And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack. His eyes-how they tinkled! his dimples how merry! His cheeks were like rain, his nose like a can! His drall little mouth was drawn up like a bow, And the beard of his chin was as white as the sun. The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, And the smoke, it encircled his head like a wreath! He had a small head and a giant round belly, That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly! He was chubby and plump, a right smelly old Man! And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself! A wink of his eye and a twist of his leg, Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread. (oh how i hope that will still be true!) He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk. And laying his finger aside of his nose, And giving a nod, out the window he flows! He sprang to his ship, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the dawn of a chissle! But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight, "Happy Murmas to all, and to all a good-night!" Quote

VonUngernSternberg Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 Ha!... Seems that this thread has been forgotten...Great!I will be able to post my video with nobody seeing it. Unfortunately I couldn't find a webcam so you will only hear my voice. A merry Murmas! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1S60NMhqVv0 Twas the night before Murmas, when all through the gazebos brave warriors and grinders had laid down their weapons the weaklings that were stuck to the chewett with care were now leaving their hiding to smell the fresh air. The archives were empty, there was only Inno two veterans wonderin' "what's going on?" "I dunno!" "then come on and let's see, and bring on your cap!" but that said they were fallen into a long winter nap. Indeed people were all there, gathered at the dojo like if they were waiting the rising of Mr.Mojo. Me too I was there, i remember for sure nobody knew exactly, but something had to occur. Far to the south, through the gate of ages a giant creature with big strides quickly approaches. 'tis more big than a mammoth, as fast as a cheetah, yet bob the tree is waving, awakened the zeta! All of a sudden, cannot explain the wonder the gates sprang open: twas ST. Knator Commander! more stout than four hounds his soldiers they came, and he whistled and shouted and call them by name. "Here Tipu! There sunfire! go stonebiter and Azull! Come on and do an effort to make Murmas more Cool! And you little beings? Cheer up, Seems you are shaking" This say the big Knator while evilishly grinning. As flyng horses galloping in a merry-go-round the guards spin around their master and cry out aloud "All hail the commander all hail the great warrior!" so he prowls ostantatiously feeling superior. And then in a twinkling, I heard on the marble of a million of feet the frantical rumble that's cause all are running, seeking for shelter though I cannot do nothing but stare at the monster his teeth how they twinkled! how terrific his gaze! he carried a fake white beard fastened with a lace, at the top of his nut a red bobbled hat when I dream it I still wake up, all covered in sweat! He took with his jaws a blunt of nightshade his load with a big thump on the pave down he laid I stretched to peep 'cause that pack was chock full and glimpsed with dread what seemed to be a skull. I recovered my forces and scuttled away and for once in my life I sent Mur a pray but suddenly something struck me in my head I fell to the ground and lied like a dead. After a moment when I rised on my legs saw that I'd been knocked down dy two drachorn eggs And just like to me many other realize rising on feet that what they hold...is a prize. I looked for the knator, to say him thank you then perceived over there his laughter faded by dew but I heard him exclaim, here he drove out of sight "Happy murmas to all, and to all a good night" (Zl-eye-f)-nea and Asterdai 2 Quote
Dante Falcon Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 (edited) Currently uploading it, I'll link it here when it's done. My video. This was quite the project and it didn't want to be completed. I'm not very good at rhyming and it shows in here. So instead it ended up not getting finished in favor of me mocking my inability to rhyme. Some parts weren't changed cause I wanted to get back to them and some just didn't work but I did my best to at least get a few laughs. Yes everything that did happen was scripted. Enjoy.
