About Me
Greetings.
I enjoy the company of intellectuals; all and any who would call themselves so are welcome.
I would go on to define myself through my preoccupations; and I mostly preoccupy myself with the arts. I enjoy the act of creation: as such, I have become a composer, a guitarist and a writer. I hold great appreciation for good comedians, theatre actors and playwrights, opera singers and orchestras.
As a listener, I listen to many kinds of music - metal, ambient, industrial, breakbeat and classical. I mention that, out of all the genres and their instruments, I find the keystroke of a piano to be the most soothing sound that man has known.
As a musician, I strive to create music in a style similar to those who inspire me. And thus, the result is a mixture of electronic and classical music, a blend of sounds that eventually form a track. I compose under the name Unmorph, and my goal is to one day be able to create the music that will inspire others, as others have inspired me.
As a reader, I appreciate the writers who can not only express ideas, but can also word them out in a captivating, unique way. That, I say, is the mark of quality. I hold a special interest for writings which deal with the character of man specifically, as they are the ones which grant the most useful real-life experience.
As a writer, I attempt to word out my ideas in the very styles that I admire; and I always try to add a dose of musicality. What results then is mostly poetry - though I have had some tries to write longer pieces in prose.
Apart from my art-related tendencies, I am also preoccupied with programming. I currently have only limited knowledge of Pascal, HTML, PHP and CSS. I plan to learn Java and C++ in the near future, and to extend my knowledge of the aforementioned languages. I have also recently taken up Flash animating.
And apart from that, video games, traveling, chatting and camping are my major pastimes.
As a final note pertaining to my personality, I have a hard time getting along with others. This doesn't mean I'm not open to discussion, but it is likely that I will remain silent for a large part of our conversation. I am not one for small talk; I find discussing events and common interests to be much more entertaining and enlightening, Also, I highly appreciate those that at least try to use proper spelling & punctuation.
All this having been said, feel free to invite me if you think any good can come out of it; I'm always willing to meet new people and new mentalities.
