I was checking around the forum posts, and saw that you get trouble to upload avys by yourself. other people are not allawed to upload other artist works as avys.

The artist can upload them, and have them go directly to their Avatar vault, then you can sell them via the transfer code

I believe Spar knows this, but OP suggests that he will sell them asis which, implies that he wont be uploading them or, that the buyer will need to edit them and get him to upload them, since its his art

You need to upload them if you draw them, but you can give the avatars to anyone when you have uploaded them.

So they would need to edit them, give them to you, and them you would need to give the avatars to them.

You are allowed to sell your art.

The player is NOT allowed to upload it.

You have to upload your own avatars.

The player is allowed to edit them, but you MUST upload them yourself

Could I get a clarification a related question?
If I know someone who draws, but is not a player of MD (nor will probably ever be, they are not the gaming type)... who scribbles me an image of a really neat "character sketch" they made, hearing me blab on about "maebius" often...

Can I commission them for a similar sketch with the letters "MD" included, and upload it as my avatar?
(since I did not "draw" the image, but know it is an original work and physically "own" the paper-sketch used to scan/upload it?)

i think the idea is they should "ideally" upload it yourself, but provided they dont use it anywhere else and agree for MD to "own" it, uploading it yourself is fine. You just take the blame for if it is used later, because it becomes the property of MD
