Respect is an invisible factor that is highly important in your evolution in MD community. Respect is earned not asked for or given as a gift...but you can fight to keep it. I will present step by step ..something.. that will start to take shape slowly and will be a major shift in how the social structure, tags and roles will be acknowledged as official. This is intended as a major thing in MD, but one that i am hoping to complete how things are functioning now and not change them too much. What I am about to say, is worth reading, even if it will be long, it clears a mystery at the very base of MagicDuel, a mystery guarded for years. The answer to the question "Who killed Marind?", is something almost none of you knew. Some very smart figured it out but kept the secret and i thank them for that. Some forget, some do not know, that MD is a very delicate machinery build on logic gears. It is an intricate mechanism where nothing is random. Generally people have asked me how we can stop resource depletion. I propose a simple group that aims to stop depletion by collectively not depleting and punishing those who deplete. If you join CARD You will not intentionally deplete resources and will be careful to ensure this doesn't happen You will not trade with or help those marked as depleters (information below) You will not let depleters participate in any events you run, nor you participate in theirs Help includes things like using positive spells on them, giving them wins (if they request), etc You can use spells, silence, heat capping, or anything you see fit to punish depleters You can block heat cappers mess…

I'm a simple miner. My hobbys include hitting stone really hard, and pulling empty memory from the earth. I don't mind getting my combat stats effectively reduced to zero, but my gathering stats are hard earned over years of hard effort, yearly shop resets, and way too much voting. Over the past little while I've been experimenting with creating 3D models inspired by MagicDuel's creatures, characters, and artwork. The results have been encouraging, and I'd like to take the idea much further. My goal is to eventually recreate every creature, character, item, and landmark in MagicDuel as faithful 3D models. We have seen a few people show extraordinary activity and progress when it comes to resource harvesting, or, better, stripping the lands till nothing remains. As the evolution shop is granting plenty of tools to harvest resources, the resource depletion is becoming a larger issue. The resources are often depleted to near 0, and will take a long time to recover (not that they will get that time since they will be harvested as soon as they appear). Currently, the ways to delay such depletions are: movelock / gazebo of chaos the depleter (very short solution) use land cleanser (multiple people, the depleter needs to stay in the location long enough for fight, you move him scene by scene and they can still harvest) verbal pleading ( does not work) possibly ferry travel ? The recent changes to the popularity poll made in Announcement 6231 have, to my perspective, made the popularity poll even more frustrating to engage with. I've personally never liked the idea of giving a "disliked" vote to someone, and feel like I'm arbitrarily downvoting people because I have no option not to. To combat this, I'd like to propose a change to how the votes are actually carried out - instead of voting one person up and one person down, why don't we use a ranked voting system? I think we the remaining population, those of us who remain loyal and supportive of MD and wish to never see it fade away. I think we should all have a get together when time allows. I really feel that we need lift up and give some praise to Mur and Chewett. They have and continue to do a phenomenal job with all things MD. All these years and MD still stands strong, even with a now small population. Those of us that remain call one another friend and would have otherwise never meet and have had the joys of sharing our spare time with each other.
