A mythical creature that only people get to witness once in a lifetime. If you're lucky it will cough up some special rainbow candy paper that can be used to grow the creature it spawns.

A loose fitting cloak is draped over it, and while it appears to have upper limbs, its shape is more mutable than one would assume. What you feed it: A small white cube: A small translucent cube taken from the night itself. Its use is unknown but its value is defenetly priceless. Result: A paradox: a Shade given form by the cube. Perhaps something like the rotating white sphere from the Traveler Adventure Log story.
