So... Bulgaria... If you're going from Sofia towards Varna, or the other way around... I can think of few places where we can share a beer or two. Or even my personal favorite - home brewed grappa :P

You are visiting every neighboring country of Serbia except Serbia itself. Even Albania, lol! :) (traces of discrimination planted)

 I know there are some great places In Romania, but it was a couple years back and I wasn't massively paying attention to which area we were in when we were going to them. Do try to go to Bran Castle (''Dracula's Castle'') though, cos that's fairly awesome.

 

I've never been to one, but I've heard that some of the P.O.W camps in Poland are fairly...enlightening to go to, but then not something that people necessarily like to visit.

You should definitely spend a day in Ohrid while you are in Macedonia.  Seeing that the route is gonna lead you through my place you must stop for a treat :)
