How do I gather lots, lots of flowers?

I can't seem to get more than 1 flower, no matter how many herbs I gather.

flowers are a byproduct of collecting herbs, the twist is that you can only collect this byproduct when you do not have one, that means you will need another player that you can use as storage so to say, you can not just make another account for this because of the restrictions that apply to trading with alts(alternative accounts), therefore you will need someone to work with you to collect flowers
