Ok guys, I need help. I am looking for a word that is similiar to Teacher in that you teach others, but of semi religious connotation.

I have already searched through a thesaurus and online. Can someone else help by giving suggestions?

Rabbi means teacher if you mean that?

Yes, but nothing that is related to a certain religion either. I think Zealot may work.

also connected to a particular religion, also if you want religious connotation but not of a particular one, you'd be hard pressedto find a word

A disciple is a follower, and if he learns from his master and ends up teaching, then he is now a master to his disciples and a disciple to his master. o.O

Are adepts allowed to have adepts? I think so. Its all in the hips... I mean perspective.
