These come from our book of prayers and have been vetted by the Sybil and given into the care of the Goddess.

Hear us as we give thanks O'Goddess.
Help us to find within,
what you have shown us without.

Open our hearts that we may deliver
on your promise of peace,
through the just treatment of others.

The we uphold the rights
of the downtrodden
and be their champion.

That by our deeds you shall
be known as a gracious,
and benevolent Goddess.

But whose wrath once awakened
is a mighty foe
That will not be set aside.

Teach us to love others
in the face of their indifference
or hate.

Strengthen our bodies
that we may always
serve you till our final days.

Accept us now, O Goddess,
your humble servants
To carry your word to the unremembering.

My heart gravitates to her,
My skin radiates in her light,
My being pulsating in her presence,
She is the one who reflects all that I am

In her shadow I walk,
Traversing space and time,
I am versed in her mysteries,
She is the one who enlightens me.

Bathed in her radiance,
She bestows life upon me,
Lifetime after lifetime,
She is the one who restores my soul.

The waves of her tide beckon me,
Gravitating and pulling me closer to my destiny,
To walk among the stars,
She is the one I serve eternally.

O, wondrous Lady of the Moon!
How radiant is your face that shines on me
in silvery rays that lavish my skin in silken kisses.
How wonderful you are,
Great Mother Goddess,
that hath given beauty to the Earth,
that hath showered it in Love,
that hath given your Priestess the Power to walk in your footsteps.

O Radiant Mother!
As the moon penetrates me with its magical light,
so do I sing to you!
Your Love hath given me Light,
and your Strength hath given me Magic.
In the light of the eternal Moon
do I sing praises unto you!

Blessed is the Crescented Lady,
Mother of Life,
Giver of Magic.
Blessed is She,
my protectorate,
that watches over me!
Blessed be!

In evening's silent passing
I wait upon thy greeting
To usher in the nightfall
And shelter souls a-sleeping.

I sit beside the lake-side
Observing thy reflection
And gentle lake-waves glisten
And grant to me direction.

I gaze upon thy splendour
So radiant and charming
Yet thou art mine defender
So vigilant and calming.

So asks this one thy blessing
To weave the threads of wisdom
To understand thy bidding
And sing to thee thine anthem.

And cleanse us in thy moonlight
When shadows fall upon us
And grant to us thy foresight
Thy loving and thy kindness.

Thy light were overshadowed
In morning's timid peeping
But still thou art my vision
O'er all things ever seeing.

Prayer to Invoke the Moon

We come o'er your hill so fair,
To dance upon the dew.
And look out upon your handiwork,
That morning shall renew.

We come into your meadow fair,
Home of nymph and faun,
To witness all the red-blue sky,
Working magic come the dawn.

We come into your forest fair,
To sing among the trees,
To sway carefree amidst the leaves
Showering kisses upon the breeze.

We come into your wooded fair,
And beckon the sun to play,
May it dance itself on towards the dusk,
And sparkle like the fey.

We come into your grove so fair,
That the cloak of night come round,
To gather stars within its sweep
And shine upon the ground.

We come upon your world so fair,
And think on what we've seen
Then fall to sleep with Goddesses of old,
And dream on moon-beam wings.

Note: web-searches and textual analysis indicate that nearly all the above prayers are the original works of MagicDuel players.

The sole exception is "Song of the Goddess" submitted by Dark Mystic, in real life a single mother with an infant child and a full-time job, who admitted she lacked the time or the writing gift to submit the requisite prayer to join the priesthood of the Children of the Eclipse. I told her it would be ok to use this relatively obscure pagan prayer, given that this is not from a major, living religion with large numbers of people to offend, and given that the "hymn to Hecate," found everywhere from modern Satanism to the fiction of H.P. Lovecraft, had been used by Khalazdad on several occasions in rites pertaining to Necrovion.

Dark Mystic is now a PWR with a very interesting role that contributes to the flavor of both Loreroot and Necrovion.

Oh Glorious Moon
Your glow fills me
Body and Soul
Replenished and complete

Without your heavenly gaze
I would perish and cease
I revere you above all others
None come before you

I bathe in your Light
Your Light consumes me
Your Light empowers me
Your Light rejuvenates me

Yea that I walk in the valley of darkness
I walk with no fear for you art with me
I trip not on hidden things for you guide me
Blinded not by the darkness, I'm shown the way

Thank you Luna for your gift
Thank You Luna for your light
I am a child of the Eclipse
Your will is mine.

When the Night Passes over
I feel the strength come over
Coming from the Great Moon Goddess

She helps me in all my worries
and gives me power in all my duties
So I may follow her radiant beauty

I shall do anything for the Great Moon Goddess
She commands me in all my life
She is my life

The Great Moon Goddess is Merciful
The Great Moon Goddess is Powerful
The Great Moon Goddess is Life

No Less Than Full

Our eyes
See only the phases
Though she is always full

Our hearts
See only the shadow
But her love is always here

Our minds
Reason it away
But her joy is always present

Our spirit
Knows without words
That the Goddess of the Moon is always near

O Lady of the Moon, in your full beauty
O Love of the Nymphaea, come into the light that casts no shadow
O Joy of the Winderwild, overflow our cup of reason with your wine
O Goddess, fill us, fill us with your knowing

That our hearts may again rejoice
Our eyes may once again be filled
Our reason overcome
Spirits abounding
In You.

Goddess of Light, I come to Thee.
One knee bent, I lay my Sword
Upon Loreroot sacred Soil.

Wings outstretched, One Fist to Heart
I pledge Sword to the Eclipse
My sweat and blood to Thy Sybil.

Fellow Knights, you are my Kin.
I fight and train by your Side.
Back to Back, I'll never Falter.

Praise Be to You O Moon!
My Thanksgiving to the Priestess.
Honor to the Knights and Captain.
Loyalty to out Leader.
