Alas crossing a border is annoying even for small countries. The last times I traveled from Antwerp to Amsterdam by train I had an average delay of 1 hour on a 2 hour trip. And it costs 37.60€ (if you go back the same day). Which is expensive compared to what young people pay to get anywhere in Belgium.

We were discussing this since next weekend from Friday evening to Monday evening i'll be in Amsterdam for the Amsterdam Dance Event - anyone else willing to come to Amsterdam or Rotterdam or can we agree on some other common point to have a quick beer?
Otherwise next week and the first week of November I'll be back in Lausanne, Switzerland, so if anyone's close to that we should definitely meet for a beer

Well... I think there's also to consider that maybe some German players want to come... That's why I said utrecht (besides the fact I live close ) it's relatively easy to get to from both sides.

C'mon! Take a plane and come to Bucharest! You have now the proof of how great it is

You know average age of players in this area? Students don't just catch a plane, it costs money

EDIT: marv, it's WAY easier to get to Utrecht as it's the main junction of public transport here...

Use low cost. It's really really cheap. And it's also exciting cause you don't know if the flight will be smooth or not

Seems like you'll get enough work when considering the Dutch people only.
Public transportation between Belgium and the Netherlands is expensive and time consuming; once the long awaited HST arrives it will be more expensive and slightly faster. And have you looked at a map of Germany recently? I doubt traveling from Berlin is going to be fast. And then there's the fact we'll need to bring our own beer...

if I'd started playing MD earlier we would've had lots of beers in Belgium, Germany or Netherlands, I spent 10 weeks in Brussels and 8 in Dusseldorf this year

Almost every Saturday is fine... Except this Saturday that far away I'm afraid I can't make it due to travelling times and previous commitments... (It's 3 hours to and 3 hours from Maastricht by public transport...)
