It is not citrus; it is not flesh. HINT #1: This is a FOUND surface. I did not create it by burning, blending, mashing, etc. HINT #2: The piece of paper in the pic is quite a bit smaller than my fingernail. The subject being photographed is readily available. ANSWER: Inner surface of a red bell pepper. Congratulations, Arianna de Montreve! Edited February 27, 2010 by apophys

apophys Posted February 26, 2010 Author Report Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) None of the above. I posted the link at the GGG, and got a lot of nice and funny answers over 2 hours, all wrong. HINT #1: This is a FOUND surface. I did not create it by burning, blending, mashing, etc. My favorite answer so far is Pamplemousse. However, this is neither a citrus, nor flesh of any kind. I may give another hint at the end of the day, in 8-12 hours. Edited February 26, 2010 by apophys

apophys Posted February 26, 2010 Author Report Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) Nope. It is rather common and readily available, and I'm sure everyone has seen it, but has not looked closely. The label is quite a bit smaller than my fingernail. Edited February 26, 2010 by apophys
