HINT #1: This is a FOUND surface. I did not create it by burning, blending, mashing, etc.

HINT #2: The piece of paper in the pic is quite a bit smaller than my fingernail. The subject being photographed is readily available.

I posted the link at the GGG, and got a lot of nice and funny answers over 2 hours, all wrong.


HINT #1: This is a FOUND surface. I did not create it by burning, blending, mashing, etc.


My favorite answer so far is Pamplemousse. However, this is neither a citrus, nor flesh of any kind. I may give another hint at the end of the day, in 8-12 hours.

Nope. :D

It is rather common and readily available, and I'm sure everyone has seen it, but has not looked closely.
The label is quite a bit smaller than my fingernail.
