Kalmatos Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 Hello people, first off, i want to say a hi to everyone, and if you find that any questions below has been answered, please post a link to the thread, in which i will make my own way there to read it on my own free time. Given that school has just started, it will probably be a week from now before i check this thread again, if i get around to checking this thread. Well, i would like to say that this game is very ... interesting, and confusing. I do have a mentor, Grido, but i also realise that he is a live help supporter and thus would not be able to spend so much time entertaining my useless questions, so i though to ask here. Please bear with me. Now, for the main topic. () 1) Creatures - I constantly see other 'bots, as explained by Grido- having better creatures than me. Will i be able to unlock those creatures too in the future or will i only be able to get the creatures from the Creature Shops, which i believe i will have to find. 2) I see others having cool avatar, and when i go to the MD Shop, it says i have to unlock it first, where do i unlock it? 3) Mind Power Levels - Do they increase everytime i complete a chapter in the story? I realise that i wish to get better stats, even though i know most of it don't matter, depending on what type of character i want to play, but i was wondering, other than waiting for 24 hours, what other activity will i be able to increase my stats? 4) Homeland, House and Alliance. What is the difference? For now, that's all the questions i have, until i find out more about the Game, feel free to tell me things you think would aid me though. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers my questions! Sincerely, Kalmatos

What is the difference? [/quote] 1) Many creatures in MD are obtainable from the numerous creature locations, and thus from that after upgrading them, you would get more powerful creatures, Some creatures however are harder to obtain, Being that they are in locations that you cannot reach. And a small amount of creatures can be purchased in the MD Shop, with credits. So i would recommend doing the free credits each day so you can start to build up the credit amount and in time buy some of these unique creatures. 2) The ability to unlock it is "somewhere" in the MD Shop, I will tell you that its an "extra feature" so you may have to use some of the extra feature items in the shop before it comes available. 3A) When you start, you are Mindpower 3. This allows you to pick 3 principles. once you have finished your storymode it will give you an amount of experience you have to reach to advance to the next mindpower. When you advance you will replay storymode again and get to choose another principle. You can choose as many principles as your mind power level. 3B) Stats can be increased a lot of ways, from just logging in, to fighting, to sacrificing creatures. It is up to you how you decide to level your stats up. Testing is key to finding a good way. 4) its a little confusing as the naming structure isnt the same, so some things mean the same thing Homeland - House - Territory - All refer to the land you are affiliated with, Because i am a citizen of Marind Bell i get a small stat increase on some stats. Alliance - This is the alliance you belong to, this will give you a badge by your name of the alliance you are in. Being in an alliance Takes priority over Homeland status. Your alliance also gives you a Homeland bonus depending on which Homeland your alliance is affiliated with. So because SoE are a Marind Bell alliance, if i joined them i could become a Marind Bell Citizen also.
Kyphis the Bard Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 I'd just like to add to Chewetts 3A) answer that the story doesn't finsh at each chapter, some mind power levels have multiple chapters to their story before you advance. For example, MP3/4 both have two chapters (3 if you include the introduction)

You can get creatures from the creature shops of which there is one in almost every land (Marind Bell, Loreroot, No Mans Land, and Necrovion. You can also get creatures from various parts of the md shop they just take time and/or money to get to. Last option and I've not experienced this one myself yet but you can also get creatures on special occasions when they are given out )such as Christmas). 2. The avatar shop is locked reasonably deep in one area of the MD shop once you unlock it you will be able to buy an avatar for yourself. 3. MindPower or MP for short Increase after you finish story mode and meet certain criteria. Once you finish story mode the scroll will list the criteria still needed to reach the next mp level. There are several different ways to get better stats most you must discover on your own I'm afraid they are hidden though easily found when looking in the right place. 4.Homeland is the land you belong to further on in the game you may wish to join one of the four main lands (Marind Bell, Loreroot, Necrovion, or Golumus(sp?) or you may decide to join one of the other lesser populated lands. Being part of a land means you owe a certain loyalty to that land and it's king (if it has one) It also gives certain bonuses. Alliances and houses as far as i can tell are the same thing Each land has its own alliances joining an alliance pretty much means you join the land as well there are 2 to 4 alliances in each land and just like belonging to a land you owe certain loyalties to the leader of the alliance and also get certain bonus' from joining them.
Kalmatos Posted April 24, 2010 Author Report Posted April 24, 2010 Ok, thanks everyone for answering. Does it mean that if i do not complete my story and i go around balancing my fights, i will be able to increase my stats, although it will be slower? Also, if the criteria for advancing to the next level requires example, what kind of experience will it be using, Creature Xp? Also, the Chevron under the honor has different colors, what does it mean? Again, thanks. Sincerely Kalmatos

But before you are able to advance to the next level you will need to complete storymode. And there is a specific amount of Personal exp to advance. This personal exp is gained by doing most things in the game. The Chevon's represents the amount Active days the person has, the more rare the chevoron color the more active days they have.

dst Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 You must have a minimum number of posts before you're allowed to post pictures on the forum (20 posts I think).
Root Admin Chewett Posted June 30, 2010 Root Admin Report Posted June 30, 2010 That is correct, the minimum is 20 posts so we dont have 500 albums by people who leave then next day.
Allyce Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Oh, I see, well thank you..now I know why i couldn't upload some pics, thanks Chewett and dst
