(locations 7_statuehalldoor_1) has a restricted phrase - stat - in it. This seems to mean that, currently, no script can be placed on the pillars by the door, or in any other such place.

I guess the location setting needs to be able to read off a variable, or something. (disclaimer: I'm a noob scripter)

Acording to Rendril's post regarding the location setting, you can't use quotaion marks or variables in it.

yeah, and far as i know that trick only works with echoing, not with anything else

so then set st as a variable, and at as a variable, and refer to the 2 variables in the correct order.

As I recall, you cannot put variables in the locations definition.
