Sharpwind
The Ivy mortissima (or Mad Thorn as locals refer to it) is luckily not a very common plant and most sad souls that have witnessed its beautiful silver flowers to blossom never lived to tell the tale. It strikes incredibly fast and it's victims are entangled with its thorny vines waiting for a certain death ----------------------------- Small red seed Stats Vital Energy 5/5 Attack Defense Initiative Targets: Abilities: Special influences Upgrade costs Action points 50 Value points Sacrificed vitality 10000 Exploring Points Age 60 wins -------------------------------------- Small thorny plant Stats Vital Energy 50/50 Attack 10 Defense 50 Initiative 1 Targets: single Abilities: damage Actions of this unit are performed on enemy player Special influences Upgrade costs Action points 70 Value points 15000 Sacrificed vitality 20000 Exploring Points Age 120 wins 500 -------------------------------------- Thorny Vines: Stats Vital Energy 500/500 Power 40 Defense 200 Initiative 3 Targets: single Abilities: steal life Actions of this unit are performed on enemy player Special influences Entagle: 25% chance of entangling an enemy creature (not being able to attack for the next round) Upgrade costs Action points 85 Value points 20000 Sacrificed vitality 30000 Exploring Points 5 Age 180 wins 1000 ------------------------------------------------- Ivy Mortissima: Stats Vital Energy 1000/1000 Power 70 Defense 400 Initiative 4 Targets: Multiple Abilities: steal life Actions of this unit are performed on enemy player Special influences Entagle: 25% chance of entangling an enemy creature (not being able to attack for the next round) Upgrade costs Action points 100 Value points 35000 Sacrificed vitality 40000 Exploring Points 8 Age 240 wins 2000 -------------------------------------------------- Voracious Creeper (Mad Thorn): Stats Vital Energy 2000/2000 Power 90 Defense 500 Initiative 5 Targets: Multiple Abilities: steal life Actions of this unit are performed on enemy player Special influences Entagle: 50% chance of entangling an enemy creature (not being able to attack for the next round) ---------------------------------------------------- Just sharing an idea, please share your opinions Edited August 17, 2010 by Sharpwind
Pipstickz
It's a Water Daemon/Elemental with freeze influence that lasts one round instead of the whole fight, and more stats than usual. Also, no creature targets single, there's dying, random, weak creatures, etc.
Grido
Aside from that naming the max level of "Mad Thorn" would cause confusion with "Madhorn" of the Drach

The Great Wanderer
Sorry, with single I meant random Yes that's about it, do you think it's overpowered ?
Its final stages gives it the ability to steal life from multiple enemy creatures... along with high defense this would seem to make it hard to kill, maybe just a little too powerfull? Though with some slight stat adjustments I think it could be a nice creature addition. (As far as how you would want to go about changing it, I can not really tell you. Someone with better creature creation expierence would have to give you info on it.) Sorry to add this in, but I noticed it takes it 60 age every stage to level up even to its max. Maybe it should be balanced out more... each stage taking slightly longer for age, and the first stage might want to start somewhat less age. After all it is a "seed" that can not fight, but will have to sit for around two months to reach the age needed... (just some helpful criticism.) Sharpwind
@ The Great Wanderer Thanks for your criticism, it helps a lot I'll do some adjustments in the stats and the age
Nex
my 2 points of criticism would be that: a) it wouldn't be so much a creature addition, rather a superior replacement for water daimons (thorny vine) and elementals (the last two levels). b) it has more power than is needed to cap steal life.
