Welcome. I guess you mean the picture you uploaded, and it looks fine, although I'm not sure whether you have hands on the sides, or more likely the tips of a cloak there, because it's blurred by this..minicyclone around you.

Thats one small minus for me, although otherwise it's great.

Thank you. It's suppose to be shoulder pads showing up.

Id suggest drawing a full body because head only avys rarely get approved. Like the drawing btw.

if by avatar you meant your forum profile picture, I quite like it.
It looks like a hood to me, with only eyes being seen from the face of the hood carrier. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I receive a nice feeling about the pic, I like the shading.
