I'd like an option that allows us to turn the chat beep louder or quieter. As LHO, i need to hear that thing even when i'm listening to music or watching a movie, but at other times i'd like to turn it down to concentrate on other things. Would be an awesome feature

I second that but would request an option that also adds a popup. Annoying things usually, but it would help that when something happens (like a PM, you can set things) you get one to grab your attention. It's annoying to realise hours later that you got a PM that didn't ping.

and then you just get more reports of people saying certain things didnt appear? the logs use popups, and many rubbish browsers (google chrome) give a very small icon saying you got a popup and it blocked it! Surely you just get issues with popup blockers then?

In that case it would be the rework of the current one and not belonging to this topic- but still. I can say it works most of the time, however there are cases where for no reason the PM does not trigger anything.

Same pc, browser, anything- so it's weird that it would work and not at times.

I'd love the Volume control option. Just because I hear music and that beep is ... annoying.

Chat beep, PM sounds, and especially 'getting attacked' sound!
