they're odd books, starts all happy and such and so, then it does all dark, dank, and moody, with lots of screaming, shouting, killing, arguing-herr I mean Debating, and it ends out in somewhat of a bitter-sweet mood after the writer kills off somewhere around half of all of the characters. still a nice series.
