Since I was digging a bit for some stuff in there, I noticed some interesting stuff. (I would love to have some filtering and sorting buttons in announcement popup, it would make life easier when looking for things which you have no idea how they are named.). I decided to partially quote some of the interesting announcements in here and comment them a bit. Starting from beginning, year 2007, like dozen interesting announcements out of 165 of them. I might do similar thing for other years if I'll feel like it.

Defend ability will now be based on power attribute and will also make defended create to do only 1/4 of its normal attack while defended

I never tried this, if it works, give me a creature that does Defend on enemy :D

Steal Life ability now does percentage damage

Imagine if it gets reversed again so it does straight damage, based on Attack stat, with target All. Yes that's how it worked like and this is first change to it which was followed by many more nerfs to it.

Total creature number restriction. Now you can own only 16 creatures at one time.

So that's when we got limited in that field, would be nicer if it was 20 :P

A very low power reward comes now for the won battles. When a player wins valuepoints in a fight, the other player looses only one quarter of that value.

The infamous Power-grind nerf as well as introduction of negative VP.

Luck profile value changed, now it has only 30% chance to apply in a fight but only when the luck difference between players is 3 times.

Don't you feel lucky? :P This was further changed in 2008.

Maximum fight duration reduced from 1000 actions to 500. Same rules apply for who wins the fight if its too long.

Allianace fights now last less rounds. Fight limit is at 60 actions for a fight, that means 5 rounds for a full 6(creaures)x2 fight. This means that you will lose much less vitality during a fight and you will be abel to attack more peole for shorter fights. Some of the current fighting ritual can have different use right now so be carefull when using healing rituals or mass attack creatures.

Fight length reduced to 10 rounds for non allied players and 3 rounds for alliances. Thi change will make you lose less energy after a fight

Fight against NPC's have a 500 round limit

Try reaching that number of rounds! This whole mechanism has only 4-5 announcements yet it's the founding stone underneath the combat system. This is important thing because now we know that there are predefined number of combat actions as well as rounds, if either action limit or round limit is reached, fight ends even though both sides are still alive. Heads up, it always reaches action limit. Announcement 133 obviously didn't happen and there are no records of it being changed. If round limit is really put in place and unchanged since announcement 133, then it's probably bugged or limit is only imposed with actions and then it was badly calculated to give such numbers in announcement 133.[/spoiler]
