So? It was pointless feature in first place and it was also badly implemented, you can't do ascii art if font ain't changed to monospace.

I was just thinking of using it, so would love to see it return. That being said, it's one of the lowest priority features in the history of MD.

Sure you can, you just need to get a little more creative (  :o ) and if all else fails you could even switch to ｆｕｌｌ  ｗｉｄｔｈ  ｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒｓ. At least slashes, dashes, spaces and similar characters have the same width there.

As I understand, monstpace and full width characters have the same efect on text : every caracter has the same size (length).

Anyway, the ASCII art feature was NOT implemented with support to any "same-character-size". It was close to insane to put 2 dots beneath eachother. I guess that we failed to make Mur understand the issue at that time.

 

If Chew'd like to fiddle with it ... yea, it would be interesting to have it properly working.

This will be worked on when I have finished the chat testing scripts.
