Alright,

I have solved the Beserkers way puzzle and gained the water and nightshade needed to enter Loreroot.

All seems to be going well.

But wait, I need to use a device inside of JAck Willows shop. This is a slight problem. I can't get in. I know there are supposed to be guards that you must defeat to be able to enter, but they are not there. I just see a wooden door against the wall. I went back to Paper Cabin to make sure I wasn't missing any scrolls that might somehow activate the guards, and nothing changed.

Is there something I'm missing, or am I correct in assuming this is a bug in the game?

There should be a Certain Device inside Willows Shop that you need to Use. One that people typically use Herbs and Water with...

That's just it. I have never been able to enter the shop. No guards, no interaction with the door, no nothing.

Yes, this is a bug. It happened before to certain people. We'll see what we can do.
