Is anyone else experiencing this? It seems like on the hour (most hours) MD lags up for a minute with nothing working at all.

It seems most regular on the hour, but I guess it could just be chance it's on the hour and it's slower when Mur is doing things.

Cause: the root cron job backup_md.py starts at 12:00. It dumps the 2.9 GB database to an uncompressed file, then compresses that file. The slow log shows the dump's large table reads in that same window.

its indeed slower when i am dping things but for an other reason. i'll see if an upgrade to the server is due
