lepus Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 good new for firs? & other whiskey drinkers! *giggle* article i know they haven't spell whiskey properly & yes it isn't in our homeland firs, but close enough and worth a mention (so i thought anyway!!) & this isn't a joke either, i personally think it's a good idea - better than that "chip fat" stuff going around at the moment anyway.
Curiose Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 I heard something about that, but, in its similarity.. it would be just the fermented product that you get, not actual whiskey. So, they're going to make whiskey... instead of using say.. fermented corn and stuff to power cars?
That Other Guy Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 We've had similar things (not on the same scale) here in Canada to that since at least the 70's sadly its illegal. I hope it turns out well and helps push things globally in the right direction.
Root Admin Chewett Posted August 21, 2010 Root Admin Report Posted August 21, 2010 then again many types of car can run on alchol and various different "mixes"
Grido Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 You can definitely run cars off ethanol, it's one of the eco car fuels, just costs a fair amount i think
Curiose Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Most cars that run on Ethanol use that, and then a mixture of gasoline as well, yes?
