The idea of stunning creatures has occured to me, very much like freezing creatures but instead it also hurts them a little and after 3 rounds the hits will be combined and apply to the monster, dealing a serious critical hit if the monster survives that long.

Okay,

turn 1: stunned you! stay there doing nothing
turn 2: stunned you! stay there doing nothing
turn 3: stunned you! stay there doing nothing
turn 4: still there? Take this and die, ultimate attack!!

..duh?

for your reputations sake, i recommend planning ideas out and talking with good fighters (dst, no one, Burns, ect) rather than just putting raw ideas "out there" and seeing how they go

This basically just freeze with the addition of a element which shouldn't be added. There is already luck involved with some creatures we don't need to add more. This is supposed to be a game consisting of smart thinking. Allowing a creature to suddenly just put something out of action without a decent strategy is not something wanted or needed.

If you want to make it acceptable think that everything in this game has (should have) a weakness. This idea of yours ... doesn't..

As a suggestion ... tickle the idea of hitting back after being unfrozen.
