Pipstickz Posted March 9, 2011 Author Report Posted March 9, 2011 Kafuuka, you're free to share your opinions as much as you want, but if you think they're that important, please open a new thread. Be so kind as to remove yourself from this one. Yrth: I'll try to explain it a bit, but excuse me if my words get a bit muddled, it's late. Yes, the Lore ban is just a technicality and doesn't really need to be payed any attention, but I feel it's an issue that should be dealt with, so someone doesn't pop up in the future and get all crazy with the "You can't say this" and "Mur doesn't like that". So yeah. Quote
Jubaris Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) spoiler alert ---------------------------------------------------- now... Revelations only for you Pip (People should pin this somewhere btw) this what I got from Mur some time ago when I asked about ancient lore (just wanted some clarifications like Pip does)
Consider MD a net of logic connections, now, these connections have natural conclusions that come out of them (research purpose) but also background that becomes obvious (ancient lore). See it like a double pyramid with one up and one down (GG capital). I setup the story of what you call now ancient lore, to have it as a mirror of the present, a guideline to the story and the balance of the lands afterwards (present). The only thing valuable about ancient lore are certain base concepts, everything else is Ady making up things because he was unable to stop when i asked him to, and didn't understand the pig picture I was trying to create. Back then (5-6years ago i think) my english was very bad so i needed a story writer. Both story and graphics were created to point towards a thing, even if the artists or the writer working on them had no clue what they were doing. The important things in the ancient lore were ment to remain at a rumor level, but you people insisted of digging up details in the stories and ady couldnt understand why he should stop, so eventually everything went bad. See the ancient lore as a mirror of the present, one single wrong detail could point to a wrong outcome, and current ancient lore is full of wrong details built around what was once a solid and correct core. Three wizards, is a symbol. Their looks, their relatives, or persona lives are irelevant and is wrong to go into that. All that matters is that there are three creators, and 4 lands. Each wizard mastring one element, yet in the end 4 lands get created. The idea is that 3 elements are enough to build the 4th, to improvise it, but it comes at a terrible cost. That cost self balanced in what is now Necrovion.
Edited March 9, 2011 by Rhaegar Targaryen Tarquinus, dst and Pipstickz 2 1 Quote
