Hey yall I am also back. I had a rough time but now I am on vacation. I have some time now, so I might start spamming this thing with drawings again. I have scanner problems, but I'll find a way through this. But nice drawing everyone.

Good morning everyone, I just did new drawings. well, I will post one more before stopping flooding this page with my drawings . Next time I will try to post some architecture drawings. In this section, you will see that the shading is not that bad. When it's bad, it's it's a proof of my laziness. The drawings range from traditional to just random try. So. here goes: 1. This one is "[u] Baron Samedi[/u]" ( pronounced Sam-Dee means "saturday"). this is supposedly the strongest of the voodoo deities because of his short temper . he is the ruler of cemetery and can heal, as it is only Baron who can accept an individual into the realm of the dead. he resides in the crossroads of souls. he is considered the MOST powerful magician and a wise judge. Well he is the most known and feared around the world. ....Hey, I am just drawing it ( its all about culture). oh it was a hidden character in golden eye in Nintendo64 :shok: . google it you'll see, and dont stare at the drawing cause he might trap your soul. ha ha ha ha ha ha hehehehehe :diablo: 2. This is * erk... I dont know what it is anymore. let say an advanturer. hey it looks like Cid from ff3. so i called it [u]Cid[/u].This drawing was really small cause it was just a pass time; I was Bored. I still put it on there cause i was amazed bout how the hands still looked good considering the size of the drawing. 3. ugh I was tired of shading on drawing that pic so I was lazy :lazy: . I have to change the leggings, it needs improvement. This one is the same... howd you say stereotype, buff guy+huge sword+ mean look+ bad attitude+ arrow broken on his armor= this guy right there, ready to kick ar. I call it [u]claymore[/u]. " U want Some Of This? " 4. This one is just me experimenting.. Well let's say it is a self protrait. I call it " [u]twisted mind of an artist".[/u] :crazy: 5. this is just a zoom on my shading. hey yall.!!!! I have stayed up tonight drawing. Man I am getting crazy!!!! anywayz, I have designed 2 characters. 1. Is angelic archer 2. Is just a design of a priest 3. this is just one of my old designs, and I remember people telling me to stop drawing fictional characters after this one and start caricatures. Well I was trying to pick up the same style in my fictional characters from now on...( 1 and 2 are kinda from it) As you will see the shading is not that impressive, but bear with me for a while.

hey thank you guys. I tried to improve with the shading and I think that the problem is both. I think that I didn't include the shading into the drawing itself; on top of that, I scan the drawing and as you can, my scanner seem to be doing as it wishes, it looks somewhat like picture sometimes.). But I can't be blaming all of it on it My shading skills greatly decreased (since I haven't done so in so long.). I did spend so much time working the dynamics. But y'no that practice make perfect.

hey everyone, Happy new year!!!! Best of wishes to you all!!!! well as you know, I am back to write paragraphs on there. I was resting for this break and I ended up not drawing. Hey but I am shocked that no one posted any pics. but anyways long story short, I know you want to see nice b&w pics, and I see that most avatars are swordsman, so I decided to draw some knights. the following are: 1. Did it from scratch and well it took like 1 hour in total to do and shade 2. This one was a real pain in ar. As you can see it doesnt look that good, except for the leg armors. I wanted to do it by following the outline that I did on the page 1, post 290. hummm... Hello, dis been a long time. I was just lazy. The Science student finally have a break so I am getting lazy and sleeping all day. Well beside my my boring intro, I got some new pics. Since yall like Black and white, I will show How I shade with a pen or a pencil. Alright then, 1. This one was a request made from someone in MD and also, he requires that it is in MD style. (just like avatars). The idea is that when you have requests, yo have to bend the rules. Anyways this is (awiiya's) Pandora`s Rebirth. ( I named it like this cause he wanted power in a box) this is a sample cause I will have to finish the color and polish the face. 2. This is when I was experimenting with a pen. ( I think that i`ve actually gotten better. But in the future you`ll be the judge. this is simply etude, ( I made a mistake in the right but cheek and since I was doing it with pen, I couldn't ease. I don't know photoshop so I spent like 20 mins doing some Botox on it... litterally.) 3. this one is another one of my shading study, but this time, I was trying to time myself. this is how I outline in 5 mins. Oh and by the way the first one took 20 mins. 4. I wanna bend the rules and still post color pictures. hehehehehehe. I call it "Be Keen y" I know that you might find it bpring, but I still like to give the story behind my drawings. I wouldn't mind teaching you how to actually draw. but the drawing itself should be made by you ( like a homework of some sort.) Hmmmm that just got me into thinking. Maybe I should become a teacher in the MD university. Well I think not. because I got no credential of any sort and I am sure some one already did that. Well I can give you best places to practice. And if you really don't know how to draw that means you have to practice more. But yeah, you can post for requests, and the best way that I think you can find it in the shop is to plan when it is going to be sent and hope you get there in time. well I am new to the game and I havent unlocked the avatar option yet. But If I ever find a way, I will tell you how to survive in the Avatar black market out there. People are so sensitive about their artwork, hahahahah, apparently it is vicious out there

Yeah I know, it looks a lil bit odd, but most of these were corrected with the shading, which in this case you can't see. Maybe it is because I shade really light with my pencil. I'llfix that with intense shading. Oh and Grido, this is the second time you told me that. I'll remember to put more neck Next time . Oh and for my next one,, leave a comment on the neck too. lol

Hey I do understand that too. And I know that the players ... Um artisans, do try their best to make the game alive. That's why we have the whole game map and different places as well, and we all can all say that it looks good. We also can't say that they dont work hard Bcause we do have avatars. But we cant say that all the players are happy with their avatars. Some might take it cause there is nothing else that suits their taste. So all I am saying is that it might not be that bad of an idea if ppl do actually make avatar request, ( if there is nothing like it in the database) based on a specific artist style. And foremost, we cant say that the avatars are completely without signature. There is a MD signature on all of them ( well let say that I've seen the MD signature on some) . So If I was to be on the team, I would be happy to even get that official MD signature on my work. I is an honor. y'no.

Yeaaaahhh, there should be nothin' wrong withy that. at least just a small signature. everybody wants recognition for their hard work y'no. and if there should be special request for some artist, then that's good. It will kinda weed out crappy pictures sorry, not to bash an artist. All I am saying is that if your drawing have the potential of becoming a trademark, You will try harder to become respected. so, it will be beneficial for both MD and its players:

thats really good. well just make quick studies with outlines then dont use them after. Thats how I do it. I practice with stick figures just to correct the motion of the character cause I hate to erase. But it is good of a practice to do as you said too. Well good luck on the rest of your drawings. Hey Amoran, I just didn't wanna let you hangin there so I will show you what I mean. So in this pic, I did this in 10 min after the preview post. So in this, I started with the "stick man" outline. then, I looked at it for the proportions and I modified it. And with a bit of more details, that'd be a New Perfect Drawing. Look at the musculation, The same character would look almost 2x bigger if lifting 5000lb . hmmm I might actually make a pic out of that one

I didnt do that much of practicing though. Yes the Muscle is an impotant factor. well just make sure that the movement affect the tension in the Muscles, that in turn affect the facial expression of the character. Well... the picture will look unnatural if a person lifting 5000lbs have a really nice smile on his face at least it will be a grin. Oh and a good way to practice muscles is to go over medical anatomy...yes, learn the different muscles apparent, draw the over and over. Then look for classical drawings, my favorites, Da Vinci and Ruben. You'll learn so much from those geniuses. And thei shadings are out of this world. This is the hardest part of drawing because it might be boring. Then you'll see how easy your fantasy drawings will become. I used the same thing and now I dont even do outlines ( I traced them in my head while I draw). But whenever you are having problems with proportions, dont hesitate to do outlines on the drawing.

Well yeah,!!!! I got so many of them, and silly me, I used to throw them away before. I like yours too, Amoran. The shading is really good, that is your style so keep it, the only thing about the first character is that it looks stiff, I had the same problem, and the answer is to work a lot on outlines. Well I am no teacher nor student so my comments might be completely irrelevent. I have new ones to. I have done so much of them as of last night. like 3 or 4. I thought that nobody would like them but since I might have some fans, I'll upload them later on Well, Now I will put them as black and white since this is the topic of MD. I hope I get accepted into the guild, so you will see more of my works. I am Mpower 4 now. I havee a lot to do now so I'll pospone my drawings. I have a final exam tomorrow. Yeah I've Noticed that the black and white is for imagination and to make the game feel like a book. And I do like it man. lol. I used to read books like this.!! lol. I think it is one of the reasons that this game feels different from others. Since yesterday, I have made more than 2 more dramwings. Well it is easy to make any color pic black and white by the PC* But I am experimenting some huge technical difficulties with the system. I can't even load the front page. my firefox saying some thing about php. and all my other browsers not even displaying the page. Well maybe there is no more MD for me. well just wanted to know, am I artisan material ?

Hello to all who are reading this. I am Agnus, ummm you can call me Stephane. I just started the game like 5 days ago. And as an artist, I was happy to see pictures. But the only thing that I think lacks, is that the game is not that colorful ( unlike any other games out there.) But after spending so much time understanding the game, the lack of colour raised my appreciation for the artwork. I am not an official artist, because I never went to any art school. all I have is raw talent, but I try as much as I can to polish it. I am still learning though, but I have a style too. I mostly like to draw anatomy, or anything related ( angel, naked women....), but I can draw anything. Now I am working on some carricature thing. I have lost some skills since I haven't drawn anything serious for almost 2years. I love colourful pictures, but I can also draw in black and white with extremely detailed shading ( even though most of the time they fail to my taste. So give me a chance and let me spark you interest. Enjoy 1. pic one is part of a drawing that I called forbidden love...um I think that I will put that sample as my profile pic 2. is a goblin that I drew like almost 2 years, it was my last drawing. humm well they are all samples 3. I called that wind dance. It was one of the rejects that I decided to color. It actually worked out good. 4. let say that is really my last drawing. I've done it like 10 mins ago, while playing MD. well I kinda felt inspired. It may not look good, but that's how all my drawings look like before I ever put any shading nor colour. This is like a sample of my outlines. And yes these are all hand made all the way through. And I didnt use any computer thingiz . ( well because I dont know how to.) They just came from imagination, some might be cartoony, well because I watch a lot of cartoonz. ppl always saying: why dont you grow up. But Hey. I am a geek after all
