Note to moderators - I'm having a little fun. Don't get too twisted about the things I say.
Legend Speakers are not as active as Archivists, and they have less members (No offense to Yami, Keith, Xin, and any other Legend Speakers out there).
I'll stop editing y'all at any time. Being a bard is fun, and we get waaay more chicks.
Furthermore, it is OUR duty to archive information and keep it alive for the MD community as a whole.
Good point. Get to work. Geeze.
I would also like to invite the Legend Speakers to work with us on this project
Um, no. I hate Archies. Punks.
...I know that they currently have the biographies of several people in the pipeline, but perhaps with a joint venture, we can cover more personalities.
The modus operandi so far has been to write about personalities featured in the AL because, well, there is handy documentation... in the form of the AL. Other personalities will require a great deal more legwork and interviews: in other words, Awi will be booked until 2013.
[edit: not one of the ancients, but one of the early, exceptional roleplayers: Penelope LightMoon]
It's funny how often she gets overlooked. Luke Tarquin could tell you a great deal about her. Notwithstanding certain claims made by mistletoe bandits with exhibitionist tendencies, Luke and Penny were the first real romance in the realm.
No offense taken, Awi. LS is extremely short on man-power and the few members we do have are already committed to other projects and assignments. I won't argue with you on jurisdiction between the Archivists' and Speakers' duties.
It's convenient not to have to argue with people when they're just wrong. Boss.
What is great enough?
Who decides?
The people willing to do the writing, I reckon. Some of them may get their facts straight.
