Fire Starter Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 MD has worked quite fine since 9 am this morning ST for me, with no glitches of any sort... Quote
Root Admin Chewett Posted August 14, 2012 Author Root Admin Report Posted August 14, 2012 odd... its giving me tons of cloudflare "this page is down" errors, which appear annnoyingly in alertboxes as it attempts to load chat... yrth confirmed it for me that its loading slowly...PS: and if you didn't realise my posts above were multiple, but forum helpfully merges them lol Quote
Tal Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 I'm getting this error almost all the time, killing md for me. Quote
biermann Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Same here, webpage not available, lag that is enough to even slow a formula one car to a snails pace. then a burst of responsiveness and then back into the depths of broken-down-ness Quote
Root Admin Chewett Posted August 14, 2012 Author Root Admin Report Posted August 14, 2012 forum is on a completely different server not managed by murry, forum breaks, its forums fault Quote
BFH Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 All work smooth for me... aka Perfect/Fast Quote
Root Admin Chewett Posted August 14, 2012 Author Root Admin Report Posted August 14, 2012 yeah it seems resolved now... no clue what it was, cloudflare was doing some funky stuff Quote
Fire Starter Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 I guess around Romania things were fine. Interesting enough for the Caribbean basin. Are you sure you're not using one of my local ISPs, BFH Quote

J-D Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 When I went to edit my notebook, it had me enter a captcha. It has never done that before, and I have a feeling it is this "cloudflare" thing that was doing it. Quote

BFH Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 That doesn't happen to anybody, but to ip's close or related to attacks/bots. It doesn't mean you are a hacker, but that system detected your pc might be affected by a virus, hence it protects md by locking you. Just fill the captcha an request the access... That way the people in charge fix your problem with the click of a button. If you don't request access I believe it will appear every hour or every x amount of time it gets configured. J-D Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 So MD thinks I have a virus on my computer but my antivirus doesn't? That's a new one... Chewett 1 Quote
BFH Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Most of the people with viruses on their pcs have an antivirus software. Don't sleep by that side Just request access. Chewett 1 Quote

Don't sleep by that side Just request access.
true, but thats not what cloudflare is doing, read the actual page BFH... Something in his papers triggered the alert and to cloudflare it looks like a bot... the only way that cloudflare could know/think you have a virus on your computer was that if it was sending out data to a cloudflare network that looked like virus data. AKA exactly whats its saying, it thinks your forum submission is a virus sending back data or attacking MagicDuel Quote
BFH Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 I explained all of that to him Chew. In chat Quote
Bahh okay... But it is a fact, even if it sounds scary and all! Most of the people with a virus have an antivirus... Just that it was not his case. His issue was related to a link and part of his text. Chatting with him he fixed his own prob. So it's solved already. Quote
