Assira the Black and I would like to extend an invitation to all the dancers of MD to join together and show their technique, on the second last day of the Anniversary. Beginning at 2:30ST on the 21st, we will be hosting a dance competition at Wind's Game. Come join us in celebrating the Anniversary in movement and music.

 

Judging will be based on the following, and will be out of a total of 20 points:

• Quality of the Roleplay
• Dance techniques used properly
• Suitability of music
• Overall impressiveness

 

Dancers are encouraged, but not required, to put their work to music (utilize a youtube link). If you have a piece of music in mind but can not find it, let us know and we will see what we can do. (if you are unable to find suitable music, you will be given 2 points for that scoring category by default)

While many dancers are well versed in solo work, we would love to see people dancing in pairs. Just be prepared for how much more technically challenging this can be.

 

This is a contest that benefits greatly from preparation. As such, we encourage all those who are interested to sign up in advance (post in this thread). You will be able to sign up until the last scheduled dance has been performed, at which point we will make a final call for dancers to come forward.

If time is a concern for your availability do not hesitate to say so, and we will see what we can arrange.

The dance contest has concluded, however disappointingly even to an hour after the start time not a single person turned up.

Ditto, The time is rather bad for Europeans, Sadly also there was no announcement sent to me so there was less publicity...

Even I didn't show up because I got the days wrong... I thought it was today (the 21st my time) at 2:30MDST.... I am still not accustom to MD time. I apologize. I was looking forward to the contest.
