This project is on hold until the Archivists fully update me as to what is happening. I was informed by Mur to start this project if I wanted to, and have only just been told by Kyphis that the Archivists are meant to be fixing the spelling/grammar in a second wave after these role items have been uploaded.

 

It is a shame that this was not pointed out sooner, but once I know what they have been doing we can see where our project needs to go. Thanks for everyones work and sorry if some of it has been wasted.

This double handling would have been identified sooner if either you had asked the Archivists what was being done going forward, or been clear regarding what you were fixing at any point in this topic. As there are so many areas of MD that could use spelling and grammar improvements, it was not something that was clear prior to our discussion today.

 

I've asked Innocence to send you the work they have done, as they are the one who has been working on this task, as was originally discussed with Mur. They will likely seek to join your current team for this project once they get in touch with you.

After discussion with Mur it appears that the Archivists were not meant to be further modifying the role items. Anyone who is currently working on this project please stop and contact me  :)


Once I get the data from Innocence, we can look at finishing the project and move onto another spelling/grammar one.

I must confess, I was not directly aware of the parallel work on this myself, or I'd have raised the issue on both ends - as is, communication problems probably arose from the further sectioning of the task among the Archivists, as well as what may have been reliance on the Alliance chat  - not that such could have been avoided, in and of itself, as the sectioning was necessary.

Combined with the Issue Mur didnt know you guys were working on this, nor wanted it.
