Chris pointed out to me that the level 3+ shmsh still gave combat errors where the level 2 shmsh in my hands did not.

I just now attacked with a ritual that had included the shmsh, but now is no longer owned by me.

THE ERROR MESSAGE OCCURRED, BEFORE THE SYSTEM RECOGNIZED THAT I NO LONGER HAD THE SHMSH!

I assume this means Ledah bumped it up to level 3 after taking custody.

Not too sure what level it is - might be 4? It's Shm Shmsh if that helps. As an aside, my max Shmsh that has been there for years doesn't get marks of any kind after fighting.

My plan to win this years combat tourney by default continues...

Issues with the Shmsh meaning that you could not be attacked when using it in a ritual have been fixed. All creatures missing marks will no longer crash the combat system.
