With the way Adepts keep going Inactive, I find this idea plausible. For EXAMPLE:

Mp3: Can I have a Tortured Soul?
Mp5: Maybe. Become my slave..*cough* Adept.
Mp3: Thats it? Become your Adept?
MP5: No. You must go out and recruit more sla..I mean Adepts for me.
Mp3: How many?
Mp5: How much badly do you want the Tortured Soul?
