lately i just had a fight with a npc and before i could see what happened... first it had to show this:
Fatal error: Call to a member function report() on a non-object in /home/magicdue/public_html/core/combat/abilities/Defend.php on line 19

Received a similar error one time today while I was trying to attack Manda.

Is this a recurring error? It should only have shown up briefly.

Momentarily only. I just refreshed and attacked Manda normally after that. Didn't ive it much attention since I was able to attack in the end and ignored the error.

When reporting bugs, please give it 5+ minutes of happening before reporting, it tends to be the case that the code is being worked on and gets fixed before you know it. Leaving it 5 minutes allows for this, and if it persists after then it may be unknown and then worth reporting.

That's 5 mins of it happening, rather than 5 mins since it happened btw.


Waiting to confirm it was a one-time thing, then closing thread, presuming that's the case.
