Princess Katt Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 A bug needing immediate attention: Mur released me (and others?) from jail. Once released, I was immediately made a fugitive-- I do not know if this was Mur's intention or not. I was sent back to jail. After a while, Mur came to jail and wondered why I was there and released me again. I once again became a fugitive. This time, I ran and hid. My understanding is that the fugitive status should have gone away after 15 minutes. But it didn't and I am now still a fugitive in hiding. I am reluctant to give away my location as some folks would come and send me back to jail just for the fun of it. My account ID is 202952. Princess Katt P.S. This same problem may be happening for others who were released. The only one I know of is Dragual Monarth, his ID is 206015. Quote
Root Admin Muratus del Mur Posted September 27, 2011 Root Admin Report Posted September 27, 2011 i'll try to solve this bug today, i am aware of it Quote

Princess Katt Posted September 27, 2011 Author Report Posted September 27, 2011 Yes, mine is good. Thank you very, very much! Quote
Tipu Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 Also need to fix two things A)When i grabbed Katt it reads " Grab Him". MD is filled with more bad girls than good boys hehe 1) We can add '0' at the end of the players ID to identify as female and '1' for male. 2) Or just 'Grab' no need him/her. B) The fugitives tags have spelling mistakes We need to edit "Reabilitated " to " Rehabilitated " Funny part is even Tipu is able to find spelling and Grammar mistakes in MD hehe. nadrolski, Watcher, Ivorak and 1 other 2 2 Quote
Grido Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 (edited) "Grab them!" would be more appropriate, rather than determining an account's gender which really shouldn't matter. The term "him" (so I've been informed recently) in some countries refers to a person regardless of gender, in English however it refers to the male gender. "them" would be considered gender-neutral. Root Admin Muratus del Mur Posted September 28, 2011 Root Admin Report Posted September 28, 2011 yes the gender issue is hard to solve ..i hoped "him" refers to "player"..probably totally wrong.. "them" is not good either..maybe just "grab" but that sounds odd just so Quote
Burns Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 'Grab the Jailbird'? Or maybe 'Grab the fugitive', a little repetitive, but works. Or the always popular politically correct 'Grab him/her!', which i personally despise to no end. Or, if you don't mind a little more codework, you could make it 'Grab [playername]!' to overcome the dreaded personal pronoun. Quote
Shemhazaj Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 ex-con/ jailbird / outlaw. There are many synonyms that can be used to avoid being repetitive... Quote
Rendril Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 There is specifically no gender selection when you sign up. In the context of the game 'him' can refer to both male and female. Quote
Spelling mistakes are the least of MD's worries. And i would like to point out that mur doesnt like it when you complain about a spelling mistake, Talk to grido regarding them.
