Passant the Weak Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 (edited) Allright. Then it mean crossing GG to go to the maze is forbidden. I hope contestants read that. Edited February 3, 2012 by Passant the Weak
I am Bored Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 When did it become not-allowed to be in GG? It says Deeper GG, and the pillars of harmony certainly aren't deeper GG.... The AP required to move is barely there, so the reason for GG not being allow couldn't be the same as the Tribunal (Which is where I usually am ) Chewett, Watcher and MRAlyon 3
Eon Posted February 4, 2012 Author Report Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) "For this event some places in the game are restricted to compete in. You are to stay out of GG, Tribunal, Necrovion, and places that very few players have access to. Pathkeeper, Fields of Fear, and Deeper GG (not sure what else to call it) are restricted. Story mode locations are restricted as well." I guess I didn't need to mention deeper GG since I made GG a restriction. Most of the time GG has a higher ap requirement which would have been a big advantage for GG citizens, at least in the beginning. The gates AP requirement gives them an advantage as well Edited February 4, 2012 by Eon MRAlyon, Chewett, Manda and 4 others 3 4
phantasm Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 how is that different then MDA? Eon and MRAlyon 1 1
Eon Posted February 4, 2012 Author Report Posted February 4, 2012 Passant isn't much of a threat and I felt you all needed more room to run around Tal, MRAlyon, Manda and 4 others 2 5
phantasm Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 um...i just got disqualified for going after Krioni in the Tribunal who has 478 heads.....so its even illegal to go after people with big head balls in off limits areas? MRAlyon, Eon, Watcher and 2 others 2 3
ChildOfTheSoul Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) edit: Eon gave an answer before I could type anything. I suppose that MDA should still be off limits if the tribunal and gg are. Edited February 4, 2012 by ChildOfTheSoul
Eon Posted February 4, 2012 Author Report Posted February 4, 2012 Krioni isn't in this event, you are. When I say a land is off limits I mean it. Vicious, Tal, Watcher and 5 others 2 6
phantasm Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 so the over 400 head ball just becomes offlimits when someone who isn't in the event takes my heads, goes to offlimit lands. IF so then those not in the contest should not be able to take headballs from those who are in the event. This could easily be abuse. Someone not in the contest could take the heads ball, run to an offlimit area, and then laugh as those going after it get disqualified for going to offlimit lands.....wow Pipstickz, Chewett, Peace and 3 others 3 3
Eon Posted February 4, 2012 Author Report Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) Simple, don't follow them into restricted areas. If the persons score rises it doesn't hurt you Edited February 4, 2012 by Eon Vicious, nadrolski, Pipstickz and 6 others 3 6
Passant the Weak Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012
Passant isn't much of a threat ....
I feel so sad and depressed now Watcher, Prince Marvolo, ignnus and 3 others 5 1
ChildOfTheSoul Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Well, that's not very threatening of you...
Krioni Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 In terms of what happened to Phantasm, I had no idea it was restricted for you guys. I was practically encouraged to fight back in another thread regarding fighting between BHC and HC competitors, and I did so and ran to try and get a couple ticks of score out of it. I won't take BHC heads and run in to off limits areas for you guys anymore, but I know that doesn't do anything to fix the problem with Phantasm's disqualification. I try and play fair, and when I got attacked by BHC people I fought back and tried to win. It would seem though that this event could have been planned much better, as in, not during the same time as HC? A lot of confusion and problems would have been avoided in my mind. Jubaris 1
Root Admin Chewett Posted February 4, 2012 Root Admin Report Posted February 4, 2012 People who joined the BHC knew the rules, if they wanted to break them, fine... Their loss. Eon, Watcher, Pipstickz and 1 other 2 2
Jubaris Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Good point by Passant the Weak on mood panel... What if someone teleports/summon you to GG (or to any restricted area)? Or all such spells cannot be used anyway during HC...? Manda 1
Manda Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012
Use all the spells you want
So this allows you to teleport him to restricted places muahhah
duxie Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 well... by various posts i assume that BHC is controlled by "higher" powers. some other "higher" powers might also teleport few mortals of their choice into restricted areas and make screen shots of the fact that would create at least some random factor of who wins, or make all of them to be disqualified fun!
Eon Posted February 4, 2012 Author Report Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) I'll get a check on what spells were cast when. If it turns out the person sent himself to a restricted location I'll remove him/her. If it was someone else then i'll tell the person to move immediately. I am Bored Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Entering GG takes very little AP, provided you know the combination for the GOE. I have no benefits from being in GG, seeing as I have no allegiances. Also, by saying Deeper GG was off-limits, after you said that GG was off-limits, caused me to mis-understand the rules, and think that GG itself was allowed, and while that mis-understanding was due to me mis-reading the rules, there is still some fault in the way the rules were written, because, most people, when checking a set of rules to see if something is allowed, will stop when they find the section that deals with the action in question, and in this case, as I scan upwards when I'm looking for something, I found the part about Deeper GG, and stopped there, assuming the rest of GG was OK, and ended up being dis-qualified due to this.
