Syrian only ATTACKED Lin this turn yet it's double damage... and I thought you ambushed someone only when they ENTERED a scene, not if someone was already in it? Why did I get that much damage for attacking, and that too double...? I think she gets 2* while you are "hidden" since you are vulnerable while hidden. She also moves a lot faster than you for setting so she's already on the scene when you set so I'm not sure how you attacked me since your ambush was kinda late and a bit broken but whatever. She's still already here by the time you make ambushes Change 1

Hidden: your current scene won't be displayed.You have vulnerable until you lose hidden by doing any action or get hit. Double your_att when you do. If you are ambushed when you attack someone you're attacking while hidden. You don't need to wait for the ambush to trigger before you attack. I've used this a few times before--ambushing someone far away from me so the ambush doesn't get triggered and then attacking someone with the 2x attack gained from being hidden. This is all fair play. If you want to ambush and then attack someone, you need 2 agility (in total). However, you can always just ambush someone for 1 agility and wait until they trigger it. Being ambushed also makes you vulnerable, so if you ambushed yourself and attacked someone who was ambushed, you'd deal 4x damage to them. Edited July 1, 2013 by Change

Change Posted July 1, 2013 Report Posted July 1, 2013 Right, so you disagree with the damage when it affects you, but you're perfectly fine with it when it doesn't? :rolleyes: "Double your_att when you do." means "double your attack right after you lose hidden". Yes, it is kind of ambiguous as to if it means "double your attack when you are hidden" or "double your attack after you lose hidden". Think of someone walking through the bushes and then finding a tiger laying in wait for them. The tiger isn't hidden anymore, but it gets 2x attack because you're not expecting it. I had to ask Dan about what he meant by that too.

On your end, you should have have hidden (and then vulnerable) for her 2nd attack so she should get *2 (or whatever hitting a vulnerable person is) when she hits you. And I'm not sure how the math went on you from my reflecting but your health should go +12-17 from me. The math goes along the same line Haven't looked at the bit from Syrian though

And Lintara got the damage from the difference of Syrian's current attack and Lintara's current defence. Syrian got double attack as a result of losing hidden. 2) Amber was guarding Syrian, so she got her defence doubled. I thought this issue was clear from Samon 's death.

Syrian kept throwing off her hidden yet she still did double damage. Edit: Also, the "fix" on the first page makes even less sense. Even if DD lost 2x damage, he'd still deal 6 dmg to Amber, not 0 (she wasn't guarding). Edited July 3, 2013 by Lintara

And because of Demonic Sword, Dark Demon takes damage everyturn. I forgot Dark Demon deals magic damage, fixed now.
