It would make more sense if the box said "Heat dropped by 40". Dropped by -40 implies 40 heat was gained.

I get the "negative loss" when moving through viscous areas such as MDA

Notifications says heat dropped by 40 and popup says heat dropped by -40.

Doesent Heat increase the more viscosity there is in an area. That is at least what I experience.
