The Story mode were no more, so I cannot see the potential for gain of attributes, as to descend, and ascend again, would not send thee through the Story. While I lament the loss of the Story, I must assume that Mur hath no intention of returning it.

I believe that the ascension or descension of one to another Mind-Power level were a different topic altogether, although I am yet to see the merit in having one able to descend a Mind-Power, other than to help those within the lower Mind-Power level to ascend.

But I did it the other day and definitely got stats http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/17792-mp4-darkness-bug/?tab=comments#comment-178503 There was just a lot less points where you do get them.

And yes that is my point that people descending and ascending again could be coded to not send you through story mode (by story mode i mean the game intro where it asks you go to kill the shades) when you've already done it once for each mind power level. In that case, principle docs for the principle you lose and have to regain

Resurrecting of this discussion, as I have managed to locate a box of principle-documents that some hermit hath left near the Gateway Summit. Some new players who are able to learn of further principles would do well to locate of it, and mayhap to read of some of them.

I wonder where they would travel, if they were to arrive upon the main-land?
