To find the first part, your clue is ”All you know is you kept going in circles while trying to ‘listen’ the entire time you were at that dead end. It was hard to do so over Ungod’s muttering” So GO! once you solve or have issues, forum PM so I can get a time stamp of your issue and backtrack your time

@lashtalhas agreed to be gracious enough to give a free pass for today only. However, there’s a hitch! He said he would only patrol on even hours. So you only have so much time! wait... or was it odd hours? I told you my memory was bad. Like I said hopefully you figure it out!

I didn’t realize I had a problem until only 1 hour left in day of the dead! I spent awhile trying to solve when I realized crowd-sourcing it might be a fun quest idea. If lashtal kills too many people I’ll postpone until a date when lashtal might agree to a hour free pass or something that I will bribe him with. If so, I’ll reward those who attempted NC dangerously will be rewarded and it reopened.

So... since I have around 80 different clickies modified and I had to try to find a certain one without a laptop which has the saved notes, I came upon a most curious clickie that I typed. It involves a riddle. One which I can’t solve myself. Due to being on my phone I am unable to copy and paste the full thing from the clickie box. To find the riddle and clickie, please go into NC (while not being killed) and find a death anchor scene. Then “read” while in that scene. Within the MDScript is a riddle. Please forum PM me your guesses as to the answer. the person who guesses correctly shall gain 10 plushies from me as well as 2GC. All participants who send a sensible answer shall receive 1SC. timeline: now until... 5/5.

Also Fyrd has agreed to be the impartial judge! this means that he knows your roles, as well as the alternates if you think your first was two hard (you have about 28 hours left to tell us though) he will be keeping an eye out to make sure people don’t spoil their role to others. Also if you’re lacking inspiration in how to play your role, he and I will both be available as resources for ideas.

Land loyalty, if fighting on land that is same as where crit can be recruited. Then each crit gets stats x1.25xloyalty dividend(aka ADx2/land loyalty). Crits you have outside of homeland get the same bonus-but obviously it would likely hurt their stats. token stealer-targets an opponent criesture at random, swaps it’s tokens with the tokens of one of your random creatures for duration of fight scapegoat-takes all negative buffs from rest of team, cleanses them, then puts them all on self. targetweakness- same as scapegoat except it cleanses opponent team and puts it on opponents strongest(most hp) creature Last ditch-if player is at 5% or less of max vitality, this creature gets stats x1.5. Otherwise, stats are all x.95

Hello everyone! This quest is about a proclamation the King and Grand Duke, Chewett made. I will post where and how to start this quest once registration closes. There will be infantile MDScript involved, so if something doesn't work, please let me know (though I'm on a phone and therefore not much use in changing it) Once you have read the introduction section of the quest (there's 5 parts), then it will tell you to come back here. Then post here which route you choose. This quest has 3 different pathways: A) Artistic: where you create your own ritual of transforming the creature-must start quest to get guidelines B) Basic clickie: Where you follow in darkraptor's footsteps using his journal to make the transformation occur (has basic riddles to make you find next location---some clickies were created for this quest, so you'll have to examine scenes with care as new clickies may be there-or defunct clickies turned to mdscript) and C) Cipher: Where you take the final page of darkraptor's journal and decrypt what it says and follow its instructions Once you choose a specific route, you will need to declare it here. Once you declare, the path that you chose must be the path that you finish with. For obvious reasons, I will be looking at timestamps, if you complete the survey within 20 minutes of my posting here, then I know that you probably didn't read whatever was in the boxes or had somehow got a headstart. (I timed it myself several times). Your time will automatically be changed to 30 minutes from posting or whatever won't let you win. (so yeah, don't test me :P) The first person to complete will receive an elu &2GC, 2nd & 3rd will receive 1 old, old crit from me or a just-released crit, and 4th&5th will receive 2 random spellstones and 2SC each. All participants will receive plushies as always. If someone is particularly fast, or particularly over-and-above in their entry, there may be further rewards... For each route, to get further guidance on how to proceed, you must go to the location of the hint [Elu3] and try to "discover" what to do next. Alts are allowed, provided they complete a different route from your main character. Timeline: Registration opens NOW and closes 4/23 @ 23:00 ST. Again, you will need to pick your route and declare in your response in this thread, declaring your route counts as your registration. You cannot change routes, besides to see what else there is to see. The race will start about 19:00 ST 4/24. Now there may be an old survey link in the last stage of the this quest in the clickie. Let the acting begin! Roles have been sent out and you can start playing them now! Keep in mind that how you play your role can change and grow slightly throughout the time as you find your niche (or calling) in your role. Just ask me if you want to do something that might break your role, but honestly, just go for it. Make it your own! Also, just FYI my D10 decided all of the roles, and it was MAGIC. I couldn't have made it more hilarious than if I had assigned everything myself!

After a very, VERY heavy night of drinking... I roused myself enough to send out clues. May your heads hurt as thoroughly as mine does as you try to piece together what happened! Some notes: So there were some typos in my first post. you do NOT have to include your partner in every communication with other people, this would be impossible due to login timing differences. Also maybe you're trying to bribe Miq for information in a dark corner or something and don't want anyone else to be guilty by association, who knows? You two are a team, you have until the end of the anniversary (23:59 ST of last day) to try and collect clues and write your own story (you CAN write it together if that is your wish, but take note that each person must post their own story, so community might not vote as favorably for identical stories). You will PM me your story before time is up, you don't have to include your partner in that PM but it is okay if you do. Late entries will be shared and can win my random prize, but not the main prize.

Hello everyone! If you've been in MD for awhile, or just got started, you may have noticed that there is quite a few mentions to role, role play, and characterizations... Let's play with that a little, shall we? You all have woken up in the strange new muddled-up roles and tags world that the Jester has wrought. During this quest you will be given a random role to fulfill throughout the entire anniversary. This role will likely be something along the lines of a particular person (another player with at least 1 well defined role) or job (such as bard, jester, knight, doomsayer, carpenter, something that describes what you do, or defines your actions. This will be coupled with a twist on that character that drastically changes how they are perceived (such as they absolutely love trout, they think they can fly, they only speak through violence, they're the established housing tourism bureau's only employee, etc) Something might look like: You are the... a passivist who only knows how to speak through violence and giving gifts or you're a GWI Guardian who is a mime/mute. This is my first time attempting to come up with these, so there may be some discrepancy in the manner/style of your role. The key is that you must act out role for the ENTIRETY OF THE ANNIVERSITY. This is to ensure that multiple people had an opportunity to see you role-play. I don't want to hear about how someone decided that their role consisted of hiding in the labyrinth for the entire anniversary. A) I wouldn't do that, I want you to have fun, and B) you definitely won't win. Here's the rule: You must register prior to the 23:59 Server Time 4/14/21. You will receive in a forum PM your role. You will not be able to change it, unless it is becoming apparent within the first 5 days according to an impartial judge (who shall appointed following the closing of registration or myself) that you cannot fulfill your role due to some logical flaw that I didn't see upon its creation. You cannot tell ANYONE your role, besides aforementioned judge and myself, your role. To do so, will result in disqualification, this means in any form. (I can't say, he Ledah, guess what? My role rhymes with LIME!, when I'm a mime-- don't be that person, if you are, then I'll disqualify you). Players must take a total of 5 screenshots on at least 4 different days of them roleplaying in a scene with at least 2 other players. This does not mean two other idle players (we have events that you can try to make, at least 2 other people are almost always active at a time at any time-look for ledah or DG). This means at least one of the other 2 players must react to your role-playing... ... hopefully. Every participant then submits guesses, for every person they guess right (at least 55% correct or more---roughly), entered into hat for random pick of prize and then best acting by community vote gets one too is entitled to plushies and at least 2SC-I might have to break a GC for change, lol. The winner from the lottery gets 2GC and 5 extra plushies. The winner by community vote (I will post a post of each player and their assigned role with their screenshots in a post, then players will vote by poll who they thought the best role player was). This winner gets a WP and 1 anniversary creature! Registration begins NOW! Event ends the last day of anniversary. If you'd like to help me out and be the impartial judge, please let me know (subject to my approval, there are some people I don't think could stay impartial, sorry that's my right)

Hello everyone! I am hosting another quest for the Anniversary! This quest is all about waking up one morning with no idea what happened the night before! (Some of us have been there several times) Now it is going to be a little something like a murder-mystery style thing. I am going to give each player who registers 3 clues. Players can share clues. Players can also share fake clues. This year, you will be on a TEAM with another player. I will pair people up. You will include your partner and your clues and your partner's clues in a forum PM to both of you. This is because both of you can't lie to each other. Every time you message another player, they can give you any of their clues and their partner's clues, as well as any fake clues they feel like putting in. For a maximum of 4 clues per other player (so basically they'll send you 3 truths and a lie). However, there is going to be an "actual version of events" that happened. Each player should submit their version of events to me via forum pm at the end time. The player who's story is closest to the real thing (by anonymous double-blind judging), shall win! (this is why you can share clues, but every clue you share with someone else makes them have more total clues, thereby giving more information about the story.) 1 WP for the best submission (either creative or closest to pre-determined story). Anniversary creature for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, if 2, 4, or 6+ players participate. If you message me your submitted answers, and include the suspected partners pairing, the person who guess correctly the most numbers of partners gets a special surprise prize from me (subject to whatever Chew lets me give ) PLEASE PM me in the same message I sent you your clues in. I’d like to be involved in discussions concerning resources and land loyalty, though the frequency of my contributions might be a little lacking.

1. Is the language that you use to describe the world around you dependent on how you view the world around you, is it that how you view the world around you is dependent on the language you use, or is it some weird half causational/correlational mix of the two? (For reference, look up the Sapir/Whorfian hypothesis) 2. if you were to change the color scheme of MD to another group 3-5 colors (the yellow, black, brown, orange, and red we normally see), what set of 3-5 colors would you change it to? What reasons would you give for selecting those colors. -I’d personally really enjoy hearing your answer on this Mur has some really interesting ideas regarding colors. 3. Is it ever possible that your MD self knows things about the world (or you) that the real life you doesn’t know and what might those be? (For reference I recommend looking up the Joharri window concept. Very interesting) are these the kinds of questions you are looking for?
